Luscious Lemony Hummus

Hummus is such a versatile dish.  You can have it with veggie sticks, with crackers, pitta bread.  You can dollop it on your salad or add it to salad dressing to make it more creamy.
You can add garlic or paprika, roasted red peppers, sun dried tomatoes - the list is endless!
This is my favourite BASIC Hummus recipe that I take to a NEW DIMENSION of EXPLOSIVE FLAVOUR but the addition of Vitality Essential Oils. Just one drop will blow your mind!! Check it out below.
Remember - friends don't let friends eat any ol'essential oils. Make sure you ONLY use these ones - FDA approved to put in your tummy. If you don't have any yet, hit me up and I'll sort you out.

  • Blender


  • 1 can Chick Peas (Garbanzo Beans)
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 Tbs Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 Tbs Tahini
  • 5 Drops Lemon Vitality Essential Oil
  • 1 Drop Black Pepper Vitality Essential Oil
  • 2 Drops Cilantro Vitality Essential Oil
  • 1 tsp Sriracha Optional


  • Drain the chick peas and keep the liquid (Aqua Faba) separate
  • Add everything to the blender and blend till smooth
  • Add some of the Aqua Faba to acheive desired consistency
  • Taste and alter seasonings to taste
  • Keep refrigerated
  • Serve with Veggie Sticks or Pitta Bread
